The United Methodist Church worldwide has two main concerns: (1) the Grace of God offered to the world through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ; and (2) social justice issues.

The New Mexico Conference of the United Methodist Church encompasses all the State of New Mexico and a significant portion of Southwest Texas. The mission of the Conference is to engage, equip and empower every local church in their mission to develop dynamic disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) is the not-for-profit global humanitarian aid organization of the United Methodist Church.
